- Autonomy — in control of life
- Competence — ability to do stuff
- Relatedness — interaction with others
- Self-esteem — confidence in self
And the main barriers to achieving happiness?
- Fear
- Confusion
- Loneliness
- Lack of control
- Struggle for survival
